3 KELPHIL Employees Completed 1 Year Training in Japan under AOTS (December 2004)  
 

Mr. Michael Ramos

In November and December 2004, 3 employees of KELPHIL (Mr. Michael Ramos from LINKAGE Group 2, Mr. Tristan Castillo and Mr. Michael Nopre from Mechanical Group) have successfully completed one year training in Japan under the program of AOTS (The Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship).

Mr. Ramos underwent training on bridge design and structural analysis at the headquarters of KELPHIL's Linkage service client company in Tokyo. After returning to KELPHIL in the Philippines, he will be working as the key bridge design engineer for the same client that provided the one year training.

Mr. Castillo and Mr. Nopre have acquired skills of mechanical design drawing and site research methodology for mechanical equipment in steel plants through their training at the steel plant of JFE Steel. After returning to KELPHIL, they are expected to play a central role in establishing Mechanical Group, improve technical competency and increase production capacity of the group as the offshore production base of JFE Sekkei's Mechanical Design Division.
