In accordance with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regulation, KELPHIL conducts the mandatory 8-hour Safety and Health Seminar for Workers.
The training was facilitated by Mr. Agerico Funelas Jr., the safety officer and an employee of the Structural-East Group.
The seminar focuses on the enhancement of safety and health in the workplace. As stated by DOLE,
“Providing safety seminars and training to workers is an empowering way of building and sustaining a preventative occupational safety and health culture.”
Furthermore, the training consists of six modules, discussing the importance of occupational safety, workplace preparedness, and workers’ rights.
